As we are maintained by Leeds City Council, Children Services admission to our school is by application to them, via the Admissions Team (telephone: 0113 222 4414). Booklets explaining the full admissions policy, together with forms for parental preference, are distributed through all Primary Schools from September 2012, for entry to secondary school in September 2013. Parents/carers of students who are eligible for entry are welcome to contact us to arrange a tour of the school, or to join us on our annual Open Evening on Thursday 4th October. The school is oversubscribed and parent/carers are urged to put Allerton High as their first preference to guarantee a place.
185 children are admitted in year 7 each year. We also welcome applications to the Sixth Form. For the published determined admission arrangements for 2012-13 please see the links below, these will be updated as documentation is released.
The deadline for applications for year 7 entry in September 2013 is 31st October 2012. This is the national deadline for applications.
The deadline for applications for year 12 entry in September 2013 is Friday 13 January 2013.
